Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long has Ride into Sight been happening?
Ride into Sight began in 2018. For more details, please see the Ride into Sight History/
  2. I have a tractor with flat top fenders. Can my grandson ride with me?
No. Without a safe and secure buddy seat on the tractor, no fender and or drawbar riders. It is detrimental to the safety of all involved.
  3. On the brochure, it says “For donations of $250 or more, please contact us.” What does this mean?
If you wish to give $250 or more, and are sending a check, it is highly recommended to make checks payable to “University of Iowa Center for Advancement.” In the memo, put the words “Retinal Research Fund.” Then, send to Ride into Sight, and we’ll make sure it gets to the right place. The University of Iowa will then send a tax receipt to you for the donation.
  4. I only see an online option to give up to $30, but I’d like to give more. How can I do this?
Simply press one of the donation buttons and then change the quantity. For example, if you want to donate $300, you would press the $30 donation button, and instead of “1”, you would change the number to 10, for a total of $300.
  5. My question isn’t listed. How can I contact you?
